Heirs' Second Male Lead!

Yes, we've all watched a drama and probably loved the second male lead, but only to cry when the lead girl chose the one that acted like a jerk to her. In one of the most popular dramas, we have Ji Hoo from Boys Over Flowers. We loved him for always being there for Jan Di, even when she didn't pay attention to him. Also in You're Beautiful, most of us felt so heartbroken for Shin Woo..like seriously Go Mi Nyu, TURN AROUND! Most of us were probably screaming at the screen only to accept defeat when she left..     But, today I'm going to talk about the Heirs second male lead..as you all know as- Young Do. He's really  not your typical nice guy who will do everything for girl, but is never brave enough to tell her he likes her. Young Do is the total opposite, not even afraid to say that "You're mine" to Eun Sang in the sixth episode. This is a one of a kind drama because the male lead isn't the "bad boy" or "jerk" that most male leads are at the beginning. Heirs literally throws the two stereotypes around. Even though they still reflect the stereotype for awhile, they are not any similar. Young Do is more like Jun Pyo than Kim Tan is. I can't wait to see more of the love triangle. Heirs is such a wonderful drama and is sort of like a typical Korean Drama. Not only does it have an amazing cast including Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Kim Woo Bin, Krystal Jung, Kim Ji won, or Min Hyuk, the plot lines are seriously just breathtaking.
I can't even bear myself to press forward even for a few seconds because everything is worth watching. Other dramas can have moments where I pass through so many minutes. So, if you haven't watched it, WATCH IT!

Listening to Music in a Different Language...

Recently, I realized that whenever I have an open mod in school, I usually spend that time doing homework-while listening to music in Korean. Now to get this clear, I don't understand Korean. All I know in Korean is "Saranghae," "Oppa," "Annyeonghaseyo," and "Arrasou," and very basic words..that I've learned from Korean Dramas. After observing how much work I could get done while listening to Korean music. Now, if you're a person who is only fluent in English, then you're in luck. You could easily listen to any other language you don't know!
I find listening to music in a different language benefits you because when you are listening to a song in a language you don't understand, you will focus less on the actual words. While as if you are listening to a language you know, when you are trying to focus, the lyrics that you understand will distract you.
So next time before you play a Lady Gaga or One Direction song, try putting a song in another language. Some good choices to start with is (if you're interested in Kpop/music) listen to bands such as CNBlue, 2PM, or Shinee. Girl bands? Try f(x) or Girl's Generation. If you understand Vietnamese like me, probably don't try listening to Vpop...it would distract you. BUT, if you don't then I strongly recommend listening to VPop and music. Not cai luong because that music is very...uhh, I'd rather not say...Some of my favorite Vietnamese music to listen to (when I'm not doing homework) is 365daband, Dong Nhi, or Suboi. Try searching different kinds of music on http://www.nhaccuatui.com/
Good luck! Hope you liked my tips, and Saranghae!

Her Legend REVIEW (Spoilers...)

I have been watching the Korean drama called "Her Legend." It focuses on a girl (Eun Jung Soo) who through a rough life once again meets her cousin who stole Jung Soo's fate. It takes us through what happens and shows us the two men that are in both of their lives who have to deal with the secret that's been kept.
It's not a terrible drama, but it isn't like so good that you will spend a whole night to watch all of it-seriously, don't do that. I have to admit though, the 19 episodes were great, but the ending...It totally made me wonder why I spent time watching the drama. To start off, the lead couple had no chemistry whatsoever, I think that it was because the drama didn't allow time for the lead couple to develop their relationship. It just through the romance it, made them kiss, and that was awkward. Most importantly, I just felt that there really was no explanation of why Eun Jung Soo liked Do Jin Hoo. Was it just because??
Second thing of all, I don't care that Kyung Hee is punishing herself-I actually like it! I mean someone who has that ill of a mind and heart to do that should not be comforted! I could not understand the logic behind that...Did Mrs. Woo not realize what had happened..no, you were not destined to be mother and daughter. The real mother was still alive! How could a daughter say to her real mother all those things and treat her that way is what surprised me. But, it really showed how greed could affect a person and their life.
Min Ki, Min Ki..he was a pleasantly great second male lead that I actually liked. I'm usually a person who dislikes the second male leads, except for a few. Sure, that was his best friend, but I wish he continued to fight for Jung Soo...I loved it when he came to Jin Hoo's house and gave him a wake up call. I'm surprised Jung Soo didn't fall for him, but I guess that's because that is what always happens to second male leads. Jin Hoo and Jung Soo didn't have any chemistry, while I could see a small spark between Jung Soo and Min Ki. I think that the overwhelming plot lines had people overlook the romance in the drama. I personally wanted to see more of Jung Soo and Jin Hoo's relationship developing, but sadly I saw nothing.

In the end, it was not at all what I wished the drama to be. I had hoped for more, but didn't get it. I recommend it to certain people who like the plot of it to watch it. If you're into romantic comedies like I am, I suggest watching other dramas..Overall, I give it a 7/10.
